1996 - Founded as MPD Associates. MPD focused on safety, health and property management consulting based in Chicago IL.
Our early clients were Not-For-Profit companies and local colleges.
MPD Associates was re-organized as Free Agent Services in 2003.
2003: Our customer activity moved from small companies to large manufacturers like Helene Curtis, Lever Brothers, Unilever USA and Roquette America. Unilever and Roquette are large world wide manufacturing companies of consumer products, food products, and food raw materials.
2004: Some marine safety services were added to our profolio and the Marine Division was created.
In late 2004 We became infomral alliance partners with SOS Technologies
2004 - 2006: Recent projects activites have been in aerosol can plant safety audits and PHAs for various manufacturing companies and PSM program compliance audits, and PSM implementation.
2007 - March: The Safety Division shuts down operations and all projects and work is referred to SOS Technologies. The Marine Divison is still very active. we are hoping to re-open the Safety Divison when business conditions recover.
2008: The failing economy has damaged the marine services and repairs marketplace. These luxury items are being used less often and repairs and services are being deferred. However, we are hopeful for a better second half of 2009.
